After 2.5 years of rigorous research and unwavering dedication, Incredible Devices is proud to announce its foray into LED chip fabrication with the launch of VR SEMI.
Founded by Vikram and Rajwinder, pioneers in innovation and technology, the company has a strong legacy of solving critical problems through cutting-edge solutions. After developing and patenting a groundbreaking product in the medical devices domain, they turned their focus to one of the most pressing challenges in India’s semiconductor ecosystem — GaN-based technology.
Their journey led to the development of advanced GaN LED research, and through the strategic application of intellectual property and innovation, Incredible Devices is now launching India’s first large-scale integrated LED fabrication facility — spanning the entire value chain from epitaxy to encapsulation.
At a time when India imports nearly 100% of its LED chips, this initiative is a bold leap toward technological self-reliance, aligning strongly with the Make in India vision. With this launch, India proudly becomes the fifth country in the world to establish such an advanced LED fabrication capability.
